A Word from the Lord ~ Revelation 12:1-6 & Luke 21:25 Speaks of the Same Sign!!!

Yeshua Is Coming Again-
Are You Ready?

When Yeshua's disciples asked when He would come back to set up His kingdom, He revealed a number of signs. He spoke of coming wars, rumors of wars, pestilence, famines, earthquakes, lawlessness, and great deception. "The love of many shall wax cold," He said (Matthew 24:12). Together, these signs serve as a road - map and warning to followers of Yeshua HaMashiach. They are not meant to frighten us but to call us to action.

We do not have to fear what's ahead, but we should not be ignorant either. True believers are not in darkness (1 Thessalonians 5:4-5), and even though no one knows the exact 24 hour day when the Lord will return, for nobody really knows when the 2 witnesses are able to spot the new moon to begin sounding the trumpets during Rosh Hashanah, a day nobody really knows except our Father in Heaven. Yeshua instructed His disciples to be ready for Him (Matthew 24:44) and left instructions for how to prepare:

Wake up. The apostle Paul wrote, "It is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed" (Romans 13:11). Elsewhere he wrote, "Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness, Therefore let us not sleep, as do others" (1 Thessalonians 5:5-6; see also Ephesians 5:14). Paul was not talking about physical sleep, but spiritual deadness. Sleep was a metaphor for dullness or ignorance to our responsibility; Christians are called to be alert to the times in which they live. Watchers in the last days are called to know the season and the year of the rapture according to Daniel's timeline. The Bible says even many in the church will be deceived before the return of Yeshua HaMashiach. Christians are to be alert and watchful and to remain focused on the things of YHWH.

Stand firm. Paul exhorted the church to be "stedfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord" (1 Corinthians 15:58). While Christians wait and watch, they are to be on guard, stand firm in the faith, be courageous, and be strong (1 Corinthians 16:13-14). In Ephesians 6:10-13, Paul begged believers to "stand against" the darkness of evil. The Greek word for "stand" is histemi, which means "to make firm, to fix or to establish, to be of a steadfast mind or to continue safe and sound, stand unharmed, and to stand ready or prepared." Focusing on the Word of Elohim will help Christians endure trials and persecution and stand firm until the Lord returns.

Remain watchful. Closely related to the concept of wakefulness is the idea of "keeping watch." YHWH's people are called to be "watchmen" (Isaiah 62:6; Ezekiel 33:6) to warn others of the coming destruction. Yeshua said to His disciples, "Take ye heed, watch and pray." Yeshua made very clear there would be signs in the sun, and in the moon and in the stars" (Luke 21:25). The revelation John was given on Patmos included a sign in the sky where a woman would be clothed with the sun, the moon would be under her feet and she would be crowned with 12 stars. The vision John received from the Lord on Patmos matches exactly what Luke wrote in chapter 21 in verse 25.

Revelation 12:1-6 KJV
And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars: And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.  And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.
And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

Clearly John writes the Revelation 12 sign in the sky happens right before the 7 year tribulation starts, mentioned in Revelation 12:6.

It is clear the Lord wants the children of Light to keep watch as mentioned in Romans 13:11-14.
We must ask, what do we exactly watch for? It is clear that the children of darkness (1 Thessalonians 5:1-10) are referred to as heathens who are dismayed at the signs in the sky as mentioned in Jeremiah chapter 10.

Jeremiah 10:2 KJV  Thus saith the Lord, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

Moses clearly wrote in Genesis 1:14 there would be signs in the sky for seasons and for days and also for specific years.

Genesis 1:14 KJV  And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years.

So with much prayer, we have to strongly agree with our Lord & Savior Yeshua HaMashiach about why it is important to watch and pray always for understanding what the Bible makes clear is an actual sign to endtimes watchers of what signals His soon coming.

Remain faithful. There is great blessing in store for those who stay true to the Lord. "Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life." (Revelation 2:10). "Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast that thou hast, that no man take thy crown" (Revelation 3:11). Elsewhere, Yeshua promised, "He that endureth to the END shall be saved" (Matthew 10:22). Meanwhile, those who are living carelessly and NOT watching the signs in the sky Yeshua clearly told us to watch for, watchers will know these careless lukewarm Christians will be caught by surprise when Christ returns (Luke 21:34-35).

Love well.  James wrote: "Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh. Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door" (James 5:8-9). Christians are called to have a right attitude and continue to love, even when others mistreat us. The Lord sees all things, and He is the only good, righteous, and fair Judge. Leave the verdict to Him when under trials on this earth.

Is it really possible to be ready for Yeshua's return? In Luke 12:35-40 it is clear the Goodman of the House knew when the thief would come and would have "watched" and not have suffered his house to be broken though at the hour of temptation John speaks of in Revelation 3:10. So we must be ready when this great sign in the heavens appears September 20-23 this year!!

I hope this message blesses you and I hope we go home soon. Shalom.
